This policy explains how SField handles data, permissions, and files on your device.
SField processes GIS project data that you import or create (GPX, SHP, DXF, GeoJSON, KML, TIFF/GeoTIFF, GeoPDF), project metadata, layer styles, label settings, attribute values, normalized GeoJSON, exported files, raster tiles, MBTiles, and project packages. Pin photos captured with the built-in camera or selected from your gallery are stored locally in app-private storage. GPS coordinates, UTM, altitude, date/time, map thumbnail, and reverse-geocoded address strings are embedded into pin photo stamps on your device before the photo is saved — no photo or location data is uploaded to any server.
Imported files are processed primarily on your device. SField stores working files in app-private storage and may create cached derivatives (GeoJSON, analysis metadata, raster descriptors, tiles, diagnostics, temporary import files) to support rendering, analysis, and export.
Storage/document access is used only when you explicitly choose files, open files with SField, or export outputs. Location access is used only for map centering, coordinate display, Compass, pin-from-GPS, or location tools; the app does not track background location. Camera access is used only when you open the built-in viewfinder from the pin form. Attaching an existing photo uses the system file/photo picker, granting access only to the photo you choose (no broad photo-library permission is requested).
If Google Play Billing is enabled, SField may query your purchase status to determine Pro availability. Billing is handled by Google Play services; SField does not store payment cards or billing credentials locally.
Exported PDF, CSV, GeoJSON, MBTiles, or project packages are written to locations you choose or to standard device storage such as Downloads. Once exported, those files follow your device's security and backup settings.
Map basemaps and optional environmental data (weather, elevation, air quality, fire hotspots, earthquakes, satellite imagery) may request data over the network depending on the tool you use. Basemap and tile providers (OpenStreetMap, CARTO, OpenTopoMap, NASA GIBS) may receive standard network information such as your IP address and tile coordinates required to display the map. Weather, elevation, and air-quality lookups are routed through the developer's own server (api.ahmedseko.com), which forwards only an approximate coordinate to the upstream service. Optional fire-hotspot and earthquake layers send only an approximate map area (a bounding box) to NASA FIRMS and the U.S. Geological Survey respectively. The pin camera stamp feature uses the Android Geocoder to resolve GPS coordinates into address strings. Geo AI layer analysis sends layer geometry/bounds (and, for GeoPDF, the encoded PDF) to a private FastAPI backend (api.ahmedseko.com); AI text is generated by Claude (Anthropic). No personal data, account credentials, photos, or device identifiers are included in any of these requests, and Geo AI is contacted only when you explicitly tap the analysis button.
SField is a commercial application. All third-party map, imagery, and environmental data are either public-domain or licensed for commercial use under open licenses, and are used in compliance with those licenses — including the attribution shown in Settings → Data Sources & Credits. Sources include: map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); basemap tiles from CARTO and OpenTopoMap (CC-BY-SA); satellite imagery from NASA EOSDIS GIBS and fire-hotspot data from NASA FIRMS (U.S. Government, public domain); earthquake data from the U.S. Geological Survey (public domain); and weather, elevation, and air-quality data from Open-Meteo (CC-BY 4.0). To remain compliant for commercial use, weather data is served from the developer's own self-hosted Open-Meteo instance. SField does not depend on any data source restricted to non-commercial use only.
SField processes data primarily on your device and does not require an account or collect a personal profile. Where limited data is transmitted (see Sections 6–7), it is handled in line with applicable data-protection laws, including Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022, "UU PDP") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because the app keeps no user accounts and no central database of personal data, your rights to access, correct, or delete data can generally be exercised directly on your device — by deleting layers, clearing the cache, or uninstalling the app. SField also follows the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the Data Safety disclosures on its store listing. The app is intended for professional and general audiences and is not directed at children.
SField does not require a user account for core local GIS workflows and does not ask for your name, email, password, or personal profile to import, view, analyze, or export local project data.
Project files, cache, diagnostics, and outputs remain on your device until you delete layers, clear cache, uninstall the app, or remove exported files. Some intermediate files are removed automatically when imports fail or during cache cleanup.
SField uses app-private storage for internal working data where possible. Exported files stored in shared device folders may be accessible to other apps or users depending on your Android version and device settings.
You are responsible for reviewing sensitive spatial data before export or sharing. If your datasets contain confidential coordinates, operational routes, or personal information, secure the device and exported files appropriately.
This policy may be updated as SField adds new storage, cloud, billing, collaboration, or analytics capabilities. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

SField memproses data proyek GIS yang Anda impor atau buat (GPX, SHP, DXF, GeoJSON, KML, TIFF/GeoTIFF, GeoPDF), metadata project, style layer, pengaturan label, nilai atribut, GeoJSON normalized, file hasil ekspor, tile raster, MBTiles, dan paket project. File yang diimpor diproses terutama secara lokal. SField menyimpan file kerja di penyimpanan privat aplikasi dan dapat membuat turunan cache (GeoJSON, metadata analisis, descriptor raster, tile, diagnostik, file impor sementara) untuk mendukung render, analisis, dan ekspor.
Akses penyimpanan/dokumen hanya saat Anda memilih file secara eksplisit, membuka file dengan SField, atau mengekspor. Akses lokasi hanya untuk pemusatan peta, tampilan koordinat, Compass, pin dari GPS, atau alat berbasis lokasi; aplikasi tidak melacak lokasi latar belakang. Akses kamera hanya saat Anda membuka viewfinder bawaan dari form pin. Melampirkan foto yang sudah ada memakai pemilih file/foto sistem, yang hanya memberi akses ke foto yang Anda pilih (tanpa izin akses seluruh galeri).
Jika Google Play Billing aktif, SField dapat memeriksa status pembelian untuk menentukan ketersediaan fitur Pro. Billing ditangani layanan Google Play; SField tidak menyimpan kartu pembayaran atau kredensial billing secara lokal.
File ekspor (PDF, CSV, GeoJSON, MBTiles, paket project) ditulis ke lokasi yang Anda pilih atau penyimpanan standar seperti Downloads. Setelah diekspor, file mengikuti pengaturan keamanan dan backup perangkat Anda.
Basemap peta dan data lingkungan opsional (cuaca, elevasi, kualitas udara, titik api, gempa, citra satelit) dapat meminta data melalui jaringan tergantung tool yang Anda gunakan. Penyedia basemap dan tile (OpenStreetMap, CARTO, OpenTopoMap, NASA GIBS) dapat menerima informasi jaringan standar seperti alamat IP dan koordinat tile untuk menampilkan peta. Permintaan cuaca, elevasi, dan kualitas udara disalurkan melalui server milik developer (api.ahmedseko.com), yang hanya meneruskan koordinat perkiraan ke layanan hulu. Layer titik api dan gempa opsional hanya mengirim area peta perkiraan (bounding box) ke NASA FIRMS dan U.S. Geological Survey. Fitur stamp foto pin memakai Android Geocoder untuk mengubah koordinat GPS menjadi alamat. Analisis layer Geo AI mengirim geometri/batas layer (dan, untuk GeoPDF, PDF terenkode) ke backend FastAPI privat (api.ahmedseko.com); teks AI dibuat oleh Claude (Anthropic). Tidak ada data pribadi, kredensial akun, foto, atau pengidentifikasi perangkat dalam permintaan tersebut, dan Geo AI hanya dihubungi saat Anda menekan tombol analisis.
SField adalah aplikasi komersial. Seluruh data peta, citra, dan lingkungan pihak ketiga merupakan domain publik atau berlisensi terbuka yang mengizinkan penggunaan komersial, dan dipakai sesuai lisensinya — termasuk atribusi di Pengaturan → Sumber Data & Kredit. Sumber tersebut mencakup: data peta © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); tile basemap dari CARTO dan OpenTopoMap (CC-BY-SA); citra satelit dari NASA EOSDIS GIBS dan data titik api dari NASA FIRMS (Pemerintah AS, domain publik); data gempa dari U.S. Geological Survey (domain publik); serta data cuaca, elevasi, dan kualitas udara dari Open-Meteo (CC-BY 4.0). Agar tetap patuh untuk penggunaan komersial, data cuaca disajikan dari instance Open-Meteo yang di-self-host sendiri oleh developer. SField tidak bergantung pada sumber data apa pun yang dibatasi hanya untuk penggunaan non-komersial.
SField memproses data terutama di perangkat Anda dan tidak mewajibkan akun atau mengumpulkan profil pribadi. Bila ada data terbatas yang dikirim (lihat Bagian 6–7), penanganannya mengikuti hukum pelindungan data yang berlaku, termasuk Undang-Undang Pelindungan Data Pribadi Indonesia (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022, "UU PDP") dan, bila berlaku, GDPR Uni Eropa. Karena aplikasi tidak menyimpan akun pengguna maupun basis data pribadi terpusat, hak Anda untuk mengakses, memperbaiki, atau menghapus data umumnya dapat dilakukan langsung di perangkat — dengan menghapus layer, membersihkan cache, atau mencopot aplikasi. SField juga mematuhi Kebijakan Program Developer Google Play, termasuk pengungkapan Keamanan Data pada halaman tokonya. Aplikasi ini ditujukan untuk kalangan profesional dan umum, bukan untuk anak-anak.
SField tidak mewajibkan akun pengguna untuk workflow GIS lokal inti dan tidak meminta nama, email, password, atau profil pribadi untuk mengimpor, melihat, menganalisis, atau mengekspor data project lokal.
File project, cache, diagnostik, dan keluaran tetap di perangkat sampai Anda menghapus layer, membersihkan cache, mencopot aplikasi, atau menghapus file ekspor. Beberapa file perantara dihapus otomatis saat impor gagal atau saat pembersihan cache.
SField memakai penyimpanan privat aplikasi untuk data kerja internal jika memungkinkan. File ekspor di folder bersama dapat diakses aplikasi atau pengguna lain tergantung versi Android dan pengaturan perangkat.
Anda bertanggung jawab meninjau data spasial sensitif sebelum diekspor atau dibagikan. Jika dataset berisi koordinat rahasia, rute operasional, atau informasi pribadi, amankan perangkat dan file ekspor dengan tepat.
Kebijakan ini dapat diperbarui seiring SField menambahkan kemampuan baru terkait penyimpanan, cloud, billing, kolaborasi, atau analitik. Penggunaan aplikasi setelah pembaruan berarti Anda menerima kebijakan yang direvisi.
